  • Noah Burson

    CO-OWNER | SPIN INSTRUCTOR | CLINICAL SOMATIC EDUCATION

    Noah is excited to contribute to the yoga and wellness practice provided at Evolve as a spin instructor, Clinical Somatic Education Instructor, as well as leading other mindful and fitness offerings.

    His approach to wellness is deeply informed by his experience as both a massage therapist and a dedicated athlete. This unique blend allows a holistic perspective on body mechanics, recovery, and overall well-being. Off the mat and spin bike, you might find Noah conquering trails, at his day job with Stoked Firewood in town, or hunting for productive vibes at local cafes.

    He looks forward to connecting with you, both as an instructor in your class and as a co-owner committed to fostering an environment that empowers you to experience your body and expand your tribe

  • Dylan Koltz-Hale

    CO-OWNER | YOGA INSTRUCTOR

    Dylan has spent a great deal of time exploring how best to live his life in the most fulfilling and sustainable way possible. He has approached this from the global, local community, and inner-personal perspective.

    Through this process of exploration, he’s found yoga makes us and the people around us healthier and happier.

    Dylan is so excited to share an authentic Himalayan Hatha yoga practice as taught to him by Yogrishi Vishvketu from Akhanda Yoga (200 RYT), in Tapovan, India.

    In his classes, he’ll invite you to quiet your mind, open your heart, and allow yourself to experience your true nature - which is blissful, playful, expandable, and fearless.

  • Katrina Pierson

    YOGA INSTRUCTOR | SPIN INSTRUCTOR

    Katrina is a mother of 2 and brings a background in Vippassana mediation and leadership coaching to her work as a yoga teacher and studio director.

    Her classes are designed to be both supportive and energetic, mixing mindful movement, breath work, mantra and music for an inspired practice. She is a 200-hour registered yoga teacher and mindset coach and a committed student of applied neuroscience.

    Katrina is passionate about using brain science to empower herself and others to lead happy, healthy lives. She is also inspired by opportunities to engage youth in recreation to create greater emotional safety and connection for their growth.

  • Rod Raymond

    SPIN INSTRUCTOR

    Rod was the Founding Partner of Evolve, a 20-time Ironman Triathlon finisher and certified fitness trainer and coach. He has been in the business of helping others achieve optimal fitness for over 20 years. Rod holds a Masters of Education in Exercise Physiology and is a Transpersonal Psychology PhD candidate at the Center for Integrative Studies in San Francisco. He is one of the world's OG spin instructors and loves teaching. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or weekend warrior, Rod's classes are fun, motivating, and effective in helping you reach your goals.

  • Aubrey DeBettignies

    YOGA INSTRUCTOR

    Aubrey believes in the ability to heal your body and achieve optimal wellness through breath, movement, and nutrition. She credits yoga for bringing physical, mental, and spiritual wellness to her own life.  She hopes that the classes she leads serve as an opportunity to slow down, connect to breath, and leave feeling relaxed and recharged. Aubrey completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2020. 

    When she is not on the mat, she is likely out exploring the trails with her Labradoodle, Opie.

  • Loralee Pasley

    YOGA INSTRUCTOR | BREATHWORK

    Loralee received her RYT 200-hour Instructor certification in Spring of 2022. She is also an Advanced Pranic Healing Energy Practitioner and a certified Neurodynamic Breathwork Facilitator..

    In 2019, she went on a soul retrieval journey to Peru, where she discovered her purpose of helping others through breathwork, yoga and Pranic Healing. She actively practices Wim Hof Method breathing and cold water immersion and has completed The Wim Hof Fundamentals Course. Her aim is to build and serve the community. By using yoga combined with breath, she creates a space where all people feel safe to honor their body and soul. Her classes incorporate movement, breathwork, personal growth, love and support.

  • Ann Robertson

    PILATES INSTRUCTOR | YOGA INSTRUCTOR

    Ann is a creative instructor (or fitness guide) who likes to help others get moving. Ann discovered modern dance at the age of 18 and has been addicted to movement ever since. She fell in love with Lake Superior and the great outdoors upon moving to Duluth to attend college at the University of Minnesota Duluth. She has a BA in English with minors in journalism and dance. She likes to incorporate rhythmic music with both traditional and unexpected movement sequences.

    Ann’s biggest fear in life is boredom so she strives to offer something new with each session — whether it be a headstand or a poem. She guides others both in the gym and the great outdoors. She is trained in the modalities of pilates, yoga, barre, spin and total body condition. She is a trauma conscious trained instructor who enjoys working with both young and mature athletes. An avid runner and walker, she has coached run/ walk clubs and completed half and full marathons.

  • Jenna Wilken

    YOGA INSTRUCTOR

    Jenna believes we can heal ourselves physically, spiritually, and mentally by taking the time to connect our minds to our bodies.

    In May 2020 she received her RYT200 in Vinyasa Yoga in Duluth, MN. She teaches Vinyasa and Hatha, while bringing her conscientious cueing, funky EDM beats, a vibrant personality and fun themes to each class. Her hopes for teaching at Evolve will soon include hot yoga!

    Jenna’s personal yoga practice dates back 20+ years into childhood and she has been teaching friends and family for about 2 years. From her home, streaming online, or having classes at random parks in the city, teaching yoga has been a fun experience that has finally led her to Evolve.

    Jenna finds working with Chakras and learning new poses to be highly motivating. To her, being able to share what she learns with others to be nothing short of a blessing.  

  • Phoebe Turgeon

    YOGA INSTRUCTOR

    Phoebe's classes offer an energetic and fluid flow, that aims to inspire feelings of freedom and stability. She encourages her students to tap into their own wisdom, inviting them to listen to their bodies and honor their individual needs. Her goal is to create a nurturing and safe environment where students can explore their yoga practice, embrace their strength, and express themselves authentically.

    Beyond the yoga mat, Phoebe finds joy in outdoor activities, gardening, mountain biking, making art, and spending time with her daughter. Her love for nature and movement serves as inspiration for her teaching style. Whether you are a new or experienced yogi, Phoebe welcomes all individuals to embrace their unique selves and approach their practice with curiosity and self-compassion.

  • Annalise Peck

    YOGA INSTRUCTOR

    Since 2011 Annalise has been practicing asana to manage chronic pain due to arthritis. Beginning as just a way to exercise and stretch stiff limbs, yoga has become a way of persevering through many changes in her life, both physically and emotionally demanding. Earlier this year Annalise decided to focus more energy into her passion and achieved her 200 hour RYT certification.

    She loves spending time outdoors- mountain biking, kayaking, hiking and camping, as well as spending time with her golden retriever, friends and family. 

    All are welcome at any level to come, let go of all the stresses and strains of everyday life and benefit from the power of yoga to transform the body and the mind. Annalise hopes to leave you feeling calmer and more connected to yourself so you have the capacity to create meaningful change in your live and the world around us. 

  • Alexa Johnson

    Alexa Johnson

    DANCE INSTRUCTOR

    Alexa is an enthusiastic dance instructor who believes in the power of movement as a path to longevity and self-expression. With 26 years of dance experience, including time spent dancing and teaching at competitive studios and leading her college dance team as captain, she brings a wealth of knowledge and energy to her classes. Currently, Alexa is the head coach of The College of St. Scholastica's dance team and also serves as a Grants Management Specialist at CSS.

    Holding an MBA with a focus on holistic and people-centric leadership, Alexa integrates this approach into her teaching. She aims to create an environment that supports and inspires those around her. As a mom to a one-year-old, she is motivated to continue her personal growth and share her passion for dance with others. She loves spending time outdoors, whether camping or enjoying the water, and brings that same joy and positivity to every class she teaches.

  • Bri Ditzler

    YOGA INSTRUCTOR

    Bri has been instructing Hatha yoga since 2015. In addition to earning Yoga Alliance E-RYT and Continuing Education Provider certifications, she also holds a master’s degree in English and Creative Writing from the University of Iowa. A lover of movement and of metaphor, Bri enjoys teaching slow, meditative classes that are rooted in breath work, imagistic alignment cues, and non-linear or free-form movements, allowing students to encounter their body’s innate wisdom and potential for healing.

  • Jeann Ellington

    YOGA INSTRUCTOR

    Jeann is a passionate yoga instructor and certified Reiki practitioner with a goal to create a grounding, yet uplifting space for all. With a background in dance, energy healing, and personal transformation, she brings a holistic approach to classes that aim to integrate mind, body, and spirit. Jeann guides her students with empathy and intuition, empowering them to explore their own unique paths on and off the mat.

    Her teaching style is supportive, intuitive, and fun, offering an immersive space for students to explore their practice at their own pace. She is dedicated to helping her students find balance, inner strength, and a greater sense of well-being in all aspects of life. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned yogi, you’ll find her classes both welcoming and inspiring—a chance to step back, breathe, and reconnect with your authentic Self. When she is not teaching, you can find Jeann spending time outside with her daughter, cracking jokes, helping others harmonize the spaces in their home, or taking on a range of personal side projects. 

  • Denver Boser

    YOGA INSTRUCTOR

    Denver completed her 230 hour yoga teacher training in October of 2017 from Yoga Center of Minneapolis. She loves how yoga has enhanced her life and wants to bring that to her classes at Evolve. She believes that slowing down and being present is an important part of life. She is currently in a holistic health program through St. Catherine's University. When she isn’t working or involved with school she loves to spend time with her three cats (Garth, Nobu and Phil) and her family/friends, hike, work out, volunteer, read, spend time in nature, go to plays and concerts and learn new things.
